This one-day Level 2 Fire Safety course is designed for staff with designated fire safety responsibilities, such as Fire Wardens or Marshals. Successful candidates will gain a nationally recognised qualification that supports legal compliance and workplace safety.

Ideal for employees who are required to take on additional fire safety responsibilities, including Fire Wardens, Marshals or Stewards, and those assisting employers in managing fire risk.

What You'll Learn
Learners will gain enhanced fire safety knowledge, including how to identify and manage fire risks, respond to incidents, and support evacuation procedures. Practical fire extinguisher training may be included following a suitable risk assessment.

Course Content
A range of subjects is covered, including:
• The hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace
• How fire risk is controlled in the workplace
• The role of the nominated fire warden
• The principles and practice of fire safety management at work
• Fire risk management and prevention
• Fire safety legislation and responsibilities
• Emergency procedures and evacuation
• Fire extinguisher types and safe use (practical element subject to risk assessment)

How the Course Is Delivered
This is a one-day, face-to-face training course delivered by a qualified instructor. Practical extinguisher training can be included where health and safety requirements are met. Learners must be at least 14 years of age.

Assessment & Certification
Learners are assessed throughout the course. Successful candidates receive a Level 2 Qualification certificate. The qualification does not expire, but regular refresher training and CPD are recommended.
