Ideal for all employees, particularly those taking on health and safety responsibilities such as safety representatives or supervisors. The qualification also provides a strong foundation for further training and career development.

What You'll Learn
Learners will develop an understanding of key health and safety principles and gain the knowledge required to identify risks, prevent accidents, and respond appropriately to workplace incidents.

Course Content
A range of subjects are covered including:
• Roles and responsibilities for health, safety, and welfare in the workplace
• The value and process of risk assessments
• Identification and control of workplace hazards

How the Course Is Delivered
A one-day classroom-based course, with additional pre-course or post-course reading where required depending on learner experience.

Assessment & Certification
Ongoing assessment by the instructor, culminating in a multiple-choice question paper.
Successful learners will be awarded a national Level 2 qualification. The qualification does not expire; refresher training and keeping up to date with policies and procedures is strongly recommended.
