Course Overview
This half-day Level 1 qualification provides learners with a clear understanding of safeguarding children and adults at risk. It equips learners with the knowledge to recognise, record, and report safeguarding concerns appropriately.

Suitable for employees, supervisors, and managers who have contact with children or adults at risk in any setting.

Learners will gain awareness of safeguarding principles, types of abuse, how to respond to disclosures and how to report concerns correctly.

How the Course Is Delivered
Half-day classroom-based training delivered by a qualified tutor. Learners must be at least 14 years of age.

Assessment & Certification
Assessment is via written assessment. Successful learners receive an Ofqual-regulated Level 1 qualification. The qualification does not expire, but refresher training is recommended.
