This two-day requalification course is designed for learners whose First Aid at Work qualification is due to expire.

For existing First Aid at Work certificate holders requiring requalification.

• Refresher of first aid principles
• CPR and emergency procedures
• Legalities, responsibilities and reporting
• Control of bleeding • Poisoning
• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
• Shock (including Anaphylaxis)
• Bandaging
• Diabetes
• Fractures and spinal injuries
• Heart attacks
• Choking
• Resuscitation and AED awareness
• Head injuries
• Eye injuries
• Burns
• Assessment of the situation
• Sprains and strains
• Chest injuries
• Epilepsy

How the Course Is Delivered
Two-day face-to-face course. Maximum of 12 learners. Minimum age: 14.

Assessment & Certification
Assessment includes practical assessments and written test. Successful learners receive a three-year Level 3 requalification.
