Course Content

• Paediatric CPR

• Managing unresponsive infants and children

• Emergency response techniques

• Role of the Paediatric First Aider

• Seizure

• Primary survey

• Choking

• Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)

• Minor injuries

• Wounds, bleeding and shock

• Recovery position

How the Course Is Delivered

One-day classroom-based course. Maximum of 12 learners.

Assessment & Certification

Assessment includes practical demonstration and oral questioning. The qualification is valid for three years.
