Course Overview
This half-day Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED course equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills to recognise and respond to cardiac arrest and medical emergencies involving adults, children and infants. Successful candidates achieve a Level 3 qualification delivered in line with Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines.

This course is suitable for anyone who may be required to provide emergency life support, including healthcare professionals and those seeking CPD opportunities.

What You'll Learn
Learners will develop the confidence and competence to respond quickly and calmly to life-threatening situations, including managing unresponsive casualties and performing CPR and AED use.

How the Course Is Delivered
This is a half-day, face-to-face practical course delivered by a qualified instructor. Learners must be at least 14 years of age.

Assessment & Certification
This qualification is valid for three years. Learners must complete the full course again to requalify. Annual refresher training is strongly recommended.
